Aritificial Intelligence sandwiched between two giant countries
In the age of Artificial Intelligence the leaders of Nepal should have broader perspectives for their sustainability in the leadership positions. Nepal government should invest in generating data infrastructure with efficient regulatory mechanisms in order to engage professionals to find the right problems to solve and pick the best solutions to experiment with. The future of humanity will depend on how well the majority of us understand and apply the principles of science, empathy and critical thinking
There should be adequate budget to deepen understanding of organizational systems of various sectors for sustainable government by taking an iterative approach to testing solutions and gaining insights.
In the environment of Artificial Intelligence people are at the heart of every complex human system--but they’re often the most overlooked specially in a context of fragile political system of Nepal. Effective problem solvers have access to huge data and AI tools today know how to visualize the larger dynamics of the system while staying grounded in the needs of people. Nepal refuses to accept the importance of massive datasets and implementing data archiving systems . We need to learn to combine the analytical tools of systems thinking with the creative mindsets of human-centered design to make sense of complex systems challenges. Nepal has failed to cash the creative mind sets of talents of Nepal. Mapping tools are now available to identify the right places to focus, surface insights about professional societies of concerned stakeholders. Stakeholders at personal levels are for example whose ancestors with rich experiences with evidence based historical background of Nepal. Narratives they bring out during discussions have historical meanings and they need to be archived for future directions. Elderly senior citizens should engage youth of today in bringing out the facts of the past in various forums in order to help them understand the complexities of the situation and grow their own stories through the lens of larger perspectives and pick the most impactful solutions to experiment with so they can go beyond the obvious and design lasting solutions.
Nepalese academias should review the curriculum integrating components of current technology trends and engage researchers to work on models for techniques for mapping complex systems and identifying the root causes of a problem of the system. Government should engage professionals to establish a shared view of the complex system of Nepal and reframe problems from different perspectives to uncover new solutions.
