Responsive government and ICT
Citizens should demand good governance in all three layers of governing structure of the government to make services fully functional. Legal framework has still not been worked out so far in full scale making delivery systems difficult. Good governance and rule of law are the essential ingredients of federal democracy. If public keep quiet on this matter this will help people who are trying to move rewards regression towards older system. Those who are found manipulating in sharing of power should be punished.
Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration should be more proactive and their strategy document should be made public so that they can capture public feed back to make action plans more effective. I believe that Nepal can gain sustainable development only through good governance. People still long for a transparent and accountable administration, and the government of Nepal has yet to fully provide effective services. E-governance may be the best medium to address this problem.
The use and application of information technologies (IT) in public administration to streamline and integrate workflows and processes, to effectively manage data and information, enhance public service delivery, as well as expand communication channels for engagement and empowerment of people. E-government is thus about the digitally-enabled overhaul of the institutional ecosystem of government. Human capital building is very important. Women should be engaged in achieving this goal for responsive government and ICT
